Re: I need PC build for live feed and almost no delay

We have a new i9 10 core with 64gb, nvme 4tb and rtx 2080ti as main hardware. For input we have 1x datapath SC uhd2, 1 x bm 8k (4x4k input) and bm decklink duo. 3 x ptz optics SDI cams Our best experience is: -LED processor no scaling -Nvidia control panel turn of vsync and no pretender frames -res...

Re: Media server Quadro RTX and capture card

Thanks for the good input! I didn't think about the CPU lanes, thought all the current i7 processors had enough PCI express lanes. The reason we want a Quadro is that a gForce doesn't have the synchronised outputs so the outputs on the different datapaths might not be in sync (even if they are genlo...

Media server Quadro RTX and capture card

Hello Guys We are thinking of building a new high end media server for driving a lot of different shows (LED walls >4K with PiP, edge blending projectors, corporate shows with camera inputs). The reason why we want this and not a Barco S3 for example is a bit more flexibility (above 4K resolutions t...

Re: DOME projection with Resolume 5

Planning something similar with a dome with diameter of 16m, we plan on using 5x 10.000lumen beamers.

Did something similar a while ago with 4 beamers in resolume 5 and I remember I had to split up each beamer in 2 slices to "split" the left and right blends.

Re: [beta 3] um.... feature requests???

The developers are first fixing all the bugs in res6 and after everything is fine they will implement new things.

Re: The Ultimate Guide to Multiscreen Output with Resolume

Problem with many displays is that GPU's can't always handle a screen on each output they have. 1080 for example can only drive 4 displays. Had a show with a Mac Pro 2013 this weekend and couldn't get 5x screens working (4x projector and resolume screen). When I tested it at home it worked but on th...

Toggle next collumn

Hi I did a show for a corporate event where we had to do a quiz with some realtime stuff in it. I added all my footage in collumns in a chronological way. It would have been nice if there was a function to trigger the next collumn so I could use a single button to do this (+40 collumns on some parts...

Re: 30 Inputs on 1 Computer

Datapath DL8 or the professional LCD's with build in wall control seem the best. (TIP: if you go with the pro televisions, use decent DisplayPort cables. We once had a lot of problems with a bad DisplayPort cable with this kind of setup) Don't mess with untested/non professional gear or you might ha...

Re: Capturing DJI Phantom drone to Arena 5?

Teradek Bolt works fine unless in highly crowded environments. Had quite a lot connection drops in a crowd of +-2000 people with camera 5m before the FOH.
