Hi Ravensc,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately pre prepared masks aren't an option, hence the need for doing it in the advanced output. The description I gave is rather simplified. In practice, its a mapping project on quite complex architecture, with a very tight get-in time (and no pre existing ...

Input Mask Query
Im sure this is a stupid question... none the less I'm going to ask it.
Is it possible to have more than one input mask on a slice?
I am trying to achieve the following: I have two layers, each assigned to their own slice - A background and foreground. I want to mask the foreground layer into a ...

After Effects CC Render Conflicts with DXV
Hi all,
I've been having massive issues rendering from After Effects with the DXV codec, getting the following:

There's lots in Adobe forums, detailing possible conflicts (of all types) with the Quicktime Server. I've tried all their bug fixes which are ...

Jumpy Layer fades
Hi,
I'm trying to get smooth transitions using the layer fade - set at max fade time. It's grand until the last little bit, when it just cuts out the clip that its transitioning from with a big clunk. (this behavior is also the same for all durations of transition).
Is this a bug, or am i missing ...

Syphon issue crashing arena
Hi,
I use syphon to bring in Airserver to Arena. This has worked swimmingly with all apps that i have tested it with. I recently downloaded the Airserver update (version 4.6.4), to find that apps with single screen mirroring work fine, but apps with a duel screen setup heavly distort and pixalate ...

Re: Canon DSLR as input through BMD Intensity Shuttle
An alternative that I use is this great opensource bit of software:
https://github.com/v002/v002-Camera-Live
Download version 3 from this site. Plug in your canon slr via USB, launch the software, then launch resolume and your SLR will appear as a syphon input. Magic. Works really nicely.

Crash On Start-up
Hi,
Im a big user of both Avenue, and more recently, Arena - using them for gigs, workshops etc everyday for the past 3 years. I run a Macbook Pro on OSX 10.5.8, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M.
I have always found resolume rock steady, and was also running the beta of Arena without ...

Ipad2 video out into resolume
Hi all,
I'm planning on using the ipad2 as a tool for av performance / live drawing etc. Has anyone had experience of outputting content from the iPad live into resolume.... I've read lots of posts with solutions such as the matrox mXo2 to input video signal into resolume, but was wondering if ...
