ah its not dropping frames.. it just replays the footage at twice the speed even though its supposedly recording 29fps...

So... i record with footage at around 6fps (after a few tests) and the recorded footage plays back at the correct (or near enough) frame rate.

I have no idea why it does this!

Interactivity with Flash

Not used res 2.3 for a little while...
but I used to be able to have mouse interaction in the preview window with my Flash movies, but now they dont seem to work...

how do i switch mouse interactivity back on?

Hi,

Im recording some footage in Res 2.3 - im using 29fps videos but after i record the mix to disk the frame rate appears to speed up even tho it still says its playing at 29fps...

I need desperately to get this work done today - so if any kind person out there can reveal my problem ill be ...

well the funny thing is....

If i string together 2 or 3 avi's (1.9GB each or less) in Premier and export without compression, i can end up with an avi of around 4GB which then seems acceptable to all programs. I can even play the file in most media players and import it into Encore for DVD ...

while where on the subject, does anyone know of a decent 'professional standard' video editing program that can process 2MB+ avis's?

When you say use 'Adobe Premiere where you can directly encode your videos after recording'

what exactly do you mean? I still need to output from resolume and cannot get the recorded avi's into Premier. Sorry to be a pain but could you explain ...
