I absolutely love what Resolume has to offer - really dig it the concept of the software.
Unfortunately I refuse to use it because of regular glitches to playback.
I have very beefy PCs, all SSD and RevoDrive (which is really fast!), NVidia video cards (very recent models).
I have tried DVX codec ...

Re: Animation Timeline triggering via volume amount
Me again...
To be more specific...
I would want resolume to play layer/animation-X forward and backward based on input volume range of A/B.
I would want resolume to play layer/animation-Y forward and backward based on input volume range of C/D.
I would want resolume to play layer/animation-Z ...

Animation Timeline triggering via volume amount
Hello,
I bet this question has been already posted but...
Can Resolume 4.11 cause animations to play forward and backward via volume?
When I say volume I DO NOT mean EQ frequency.
I would like to build customized multi layered VU meters of all sort and I prefer to stay away from custom midi ...

Real Time Oscilloscope ???
Hello...
I love Resolume 4.
Is there a real-time audio oscilloscope available?
It seems to me that a resolume-native oscilloscope effect would be included in R4... am I missing something?
...with alpha channel of course

Resolume 4 and CUDA cores...
Hello,
I am new to avenue and am only working with "Resolume4 Arena-beta" which is awesome - I look forward to using the released version.
I use hefty PCs and I have some general questions:
1. I use Nvidia Quadro (Fermi) graphics cards and Nvidia advertises "card-a" has X-number of cuda cores and ...

Re: Introducing Resolume 4 Avenue & Arena
Almost forgot...
I mentioned that with GVJ I playback megasize uncompressed w/alpha and that is awesome.
Unfortunately, megasize means multi-gigabyte files.
Resolume is not as forgiving as GVJ in terms of acceptable file formats.
I have done some initial testing of my megasize files but ...

Re: Introducing Resolume 4 Avenue & Arena
I use GrandVJ on a high end PC, not for VJ purposes, but for playing back HD loops and layering HD elements
over those loops. We have a 32x9 wall which is about 45 feet wide.
I work at a large Broadcast TV studio in the US and we love GVJ as an alternative to traditional broadcast playback devices ...
