Figured it out! Thanks guys.

In this case, dmx is being controlled bye a computer program that is sending signal through usb to a corresponding lighting desk that sends out to 4 universes. The same desktop is sending resolume video out hdmi.
So, for it to be possible to control resolume dmx I would need to connect an artnet ...

wouldn't it be possible to patch the default resolume dmx addressing to a PC lighting controller without the need for a usb interface or dongle if both programs are running on the same computer?
