I'm planning to build a rig soon and get a PCIe based capture card. But for now, I'd like to get a Magewell 4K USB Capture device and pair it with my Macbook Pro (Retina Mid 2015). Mainly for corporate events. As soon as my rig is finish I might as well add it and use for secondary ...

Thoughts on Razer Ripsaw
I saw a Razer Ripsaw capture device at a local store. Do they work with Resolume? I know Magewell,Blackmagic Design, AVerMedia and AJA products are really good. But I'd like to know more about other brands and how they work with Resolume.

Installing Blackmagic drivers stops Resolume 6 from launching
Hello,
I am experiencing a problem where I can't launch Resolume 6 when I install Blackmagic Design drivers for my Intensity Pro 4K. It gives me this error. https://imgur.com/m38lqIM . So I tried uninstalling it, then R6 worked fine. I've seen posts on Facebook regarding this issue. But for them ...

Re: Record video switcher main output.
Is that different from a splitter? Does the term "splitter" apply only on HDMI, DVI and VGA?

Re: Record video switcher main output.
What is an "upstream DA"?
I can either use HDMI or SDI, as I come across a lot of switchers too aside from our own.

Re: Record video switcher main output.
Thank you for your suggestions. How about for backup? I assume a similar setup is required.

Record video switcher main output.
Hello,
I would like to know if what are the ways to record off a video switcher? I want to record the main output of the switcher. What HD recorders (hardware/software) can you guys recommend? I prefer to record in full HD given that the switcher can output 1080p.

Re: Second monitor
I don't have any hardware to test this out right now but here's my idea. You can join two displays as one big display in your graphics card's control panel. After doing that, you can launch Resolume (try full screen mode in Resolume) and freely adjust the interface on how you want it to look.
