Doesn't always work out but when I want to do similar things on my setup I use the freeze effect. There's a preset in Arena5 called Stop and Fade. Basically just add the freeze effect, click the frozen solid checkbox, and then adjust the opacity to taste.
I'm going to guess this won't work so much ...

Re: Alpha Input
Yeah, I'm going to be doing that in another venue, but this venue has the graphics computer (Mac) in another room, and this computer (PC, which ProP doesn't support Spout which is frustrating). Also, I need to use Resolume's mapping function to map and blend two projectors while sending another feed ...

Re: Alpha Input
I was afraid of a solution like this, but this would work. I'm not super fond of having so many layers, but that seems to get what I want out of the software. Thanks ravensc!

Alpha Input
Does anyone know of a way to capture a Key/Fill pair into resolume? Via SDI. I want to take an input from our graphics machine spitting out a feed from ProPresenter.
Or I suppose the real question is is there a way to tell resolume that "this SDI input" is the alpha channel for "this other SDI ...

What did you guys use to get SDI out of the system? Been looking for a good option for awhile.
EDIT: I saw your other posts about 4K HDMI to 4x SDI converters. Just curious which ones you're using.

Re: batch converting whole files of videos
This is pretty simple to do in Adobe Media Encoder.
First, make a folder somewhere where you will dump the files you want to batch encode. I have a folder on my main content drive called "DXV3 Encode" and then 3 folders inside:
-DXV3 Encode
---DXV Output
---With Audio
---No Audio
In my preferences ...

Re: Artnet Problem
Yes, if you are using a custom map the DMX auto map should be disabled. I assume your custom mappings are overlapping with the clip commands of some layers.

Effects Management
It would be neat if we could customize the order of effects in the effects browser. That way we could put most used effects at the top. Or even better, create a favorites pool or something like that.
