That was why i was trying to plot the design only using straight lines so I can animate block shapes under the mask to create effects that flow along the lines easily and then record through syphon. I'm creating a lighting rig for a small stage as shown in the image below. Im just not sure the best way to go about making the mask for the different led stip pieces. Ive also posted a picture of my mask that I intend to use. Just not sure if there is a better way i could be laying it out ...
