So.. finally time to experiment and play again! :D I'm still struggling with controlling instances. :? What I'm trying to do is to start an animation on noteon, and reverse on note out, this works now but when pressing a lot of buttons at the same time the note off events are regularly missed. :shoc...
Here is a patch to illustrate, note on triggers an animation and on note off triggers the release. But the release is also always automatically triggered when the attack is completed. Is there a way to change this? So to keep the line up when the key is pressed? --begin-wire-patch-- 2265.3oc6as0bhiq...
Or would it be better to send several OSC commands from the Arduinos? So a few to resolute, some to Ableton, and some to other Arduinos, and not using multicast?
The reason why I'm asking all these questions, is that I'm building a large interactive work. Will post photo's as soon as the first leds are blinking. I'm using multiple sensors with several Arduino's sending out OSC using 255.255.255.255 over port 9999. Usually I'm using Max but for this project W...
Having fun with Wire, but this also means more questions ;) In Max, the line object can be used to create a AR device where it's also possible to hold on marker points and continue with a next message. The is handy in combination with note on / off messages. In the Wire case, start an animation (on ...
