Re: Resolume 7.1.1 crossfader blend issue

https://youtu.be/wqi-Z6AJ84g?t=530 See how the background is still there, and the foreground is at 100% opacity with cloner effects? With this new version of resolume I cant do that anymore, the background is either black, or if I move the slider the foreground blends with the background using what...

Resolume 7.1.1 crossfader blend issue

This update broke something, I have all my background as A clips, and all my foreground objects (with alpha) as B. I would move the slider all the way to B to fade in my foreground clips with the background still running, but now moving the slider to B fades the background to black. I can't get the ...

Re: RGBA + Z

I can export z-depth masks out of my renderer when I make animations, sometimes I even include them in my packs! Adding RGBA + Z pixel would allow for endless possibilities with dynamic control! You could change the depth of field, darken/lighting the parts of the image farther away, shift perspecti...

Re: 360 VJ: Rotate 360 Videos in Resolume

I've been making a ton of VR loops and they're selling like crazy, but right now there's no way to get them to work in Resolume 7. Would it be easy to recompile it to work in 7?

DXV4/5 codec idea... multi-layered video file

So here's a really cool idea for the future of the DXV codec! Imagine having a ray-traced prerendered loop that you could control the lighting in as if if was running in realtime? I make VJ loops that come with several lighting layers you can overlay over each other and control each layer individual...

Subforum for VJ loop artists?

I think it would be a great idea to have a subforum for artists who create VJ loops to share or sell their work, help each other with tips for designing content in 2D/3D programs etc! What do you guys think?

Re: Beat Sync Clips

Also, this one comes with different lighting layers which can be combined in a variety of different ways. This example video shows them all being faded in/out in different orders :) https://www.facebook.com/uon.visuals/videos/2177880015826146/ https://www.facebook.com/uon.visuals/videos/217788001582...

Re: Beat Sync Clips

I think I have exactly what you're looking for! I recently made a loop pack with a background layer and foreground layer. The background is formula-affected cubes, while the foreground layer is a light pattern around each cube. The transparency of the forecground layer can light up the cubes as seen...

Re: 360 VJ: Rotate 360 Videos in Resolume

Because of this plugin I've decided to start uploading 4K VR Vj content to my store!

If anyone tries it out, let me know if the current encoding settings (DXV HI) run good on your system :)
