Hope u managed to find the solution you needed. I realise this may be a bit late, but yes what u wanted to do is very easy in Resolume.
Basically put 1 later for visuals and 1 later for audio and u can decide whichever way u want to play it

Re: Is it possible for layers to be controlled individually across different compositions?
hi zoltan,
thanks! yes you are correct, i wanted to refer to decks, not compositions
as per what you mentioned, the clips can have different blend modes, but there is no way to control "transition timings" via the clips only, is that correct? i have only managed to control transition timings ...

Is it possible for layers to be controlled individually across different compositions?
hi,
i have been trying to figure this out for awhile.
is there anyway to have the layers to NOT have the same transitions across different compositions?
for example, at the moment, if layer 1 has a 1sec transition for my first composition, then all the other compositions with clips in layer 1 ...

Re: is there a "stopwatch" function in resolume?
Thank you all
It's actually more to keep track of the performance timing. I don't need the clips to be timed exactly because it's also dependent on audience participation, but just a rough approximate of what timecode I am within the background music.
Will go check out ossia too

is there a "stopwatch" function in resolume?
hi all,
if there's a need to keep track of the timing from an external audio (example, in a live performance), is there a way to have a "stopwatch function" in resolume?
example song starts, stopwatch begins 00:00
at 00:20 (i need to press layer1 clip1)
at 00:30 (change to layer1 clip2)
in this ...

Re: Control Settings - 1 Key Reset to Start position
thanks! but that would also "terminate connections" to the output screens, and audience knows there's a reset done
any other methods available?

Control Settings - 1 Key Reset to Start position
Hi,
I'm curious what's the best way to reset all controls to a "pre-set" default.
Example
- doing 3 of the exact same show sequence in 1 day. during each sequence, the controls (such as opacity, blend, clips) will be edited according to the show
- once one show sequence completes, what is a good ...
