the dts type wav is more than 300MB, seems not quite possible to upload.

if you are sure of that arena can play dts file, could you please tell me how to encode these kind of file? and how to route it?

I think maybe i used the wrong software or wrong parameters below:

ffdcaenc -e -r -i input ...

can be played by VLC

I got the 5.1 channel wav (input.wav)

ffdcaenc -e -r -i input.wav -o output.dts -b 1411.2
spdifer output.dts output.wav -wav

the output.wav, resolume cannot play,
no to mention route it via a digital output to an external DTS decoder. (I do have an external DTS decoder)

since arena cannot play 5.1 channel audio,

another more complicated way would be to encode your 5.1 audio stream to DTS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5.1_Music_Disc

also, if not using spout to other app, the video is played quit smooth by arena when using six output (dual GPU)

so it is not the first gpu do twice while bandwidth 50%

BTW: using newest version of arena, still get stalling

I think is the apps i use to receive spout / syphon, did not process ...

for that, Datapath FX4 is not directly sold in my country, using some agent to buy needs at least 3k us dollars for one

I am now trying quadhead2go, but it still not releases 1.0 firmware (0.9 beta is also works, btw)

for now, I will try PCIe4.0 8x+8x while waiting the 1.0 firmware

You mean the number of PCIe lanes ? I am using x8 + x8 now. maybe x16 + x16 should work?

Meanwhile, i used windows 10 and arena 6.1.1 for win, spout to another app, if using dual Nvidia 1070 output, got stalling too, but smooth with single GPU output

I will try 6.1.4 and 7, but i don't think that is the answer.

I am using dual nvidia 1070 (z370) + 8700k, macOS: 10.13.6, using arena 6.1.1 for mac

I am using 3 monitors on each graphic card, total 6, (each 1920x1080), playing hap video, 4k

when using arena alone, the video played quite smooth, without any problem.

but when using syphon ...
