A video I encoded myself in DXV does work too, so that's an option if you want to convert all your source material. I've just installed Wine 6.0 on Ubuntu 20.04 with Avenue 7.3.2. It works fine out of the box, no hassle to launch it. The included stock DXV clips play fine, probably because the codec is included in the app. My own h264 mp4 clips do not play, though. I'll try installing media players as an earlier ...
