It's too bad resolume immediately crashes when the app air display is open, (which has little to no lag, unlike a vnc client) even when the main resolume window is on a GPU connected monitor. I assume that it has to do with the airdisplay driver not supporting GPU acceleration or something, but ...

I remember reading this thread back then, but now that I actually own a copy of Resolume I'd like to add my +1 as well. This is one of those features that could be immensely useful, but I imagine it is also a large undertaking to implement a feature like this.

Since syphon and quartz composer only runs on OSX, MacBook pro, unless the PC is a hackintosh.

Are you on Resolume 4.0 or 4.0.1? The only help I can provide is that I was having issues with crashing too, (But unrelated to a capture device) then I read in another thread that it could be that decks made on Resolume 4.0 can be unstable while switching decks on resolume 4.0.1: http://resolume.com ...

which ati card you exactly have?
i heard that the 5870 chipset with 6 display port doesn't work with all outputs at once!
I have a HD5870 eyefinity 6, and I can say on my system all 6 outputs work with Resolume 3, and Resolume Arena 4
