Re: Noob here ...

All very valid points :) You cannot say though I didn't warn you about the rant. I've seen trial releases though in use at paid gigs. I guess we'll never know if they then wen't on to purchase the license ...
The update to the latest version line works however :) and works well .

Noob here ...

Just an old man rant ... I'm amazed at how many "I'm a noob here with a question ... I've got Resolume Arena 4.1.x ..." .

Seriously now? You're new to Resolume and have gone in direct and "bought" Arena? Really now Cap'ain.

Re: Double triplehead projection

I've been running a THTG and a DHTG today for a custom job, It's not soft edged in any way. However it is running 2400x600 and 2048x768 in DXV quite happily (4.1.7 Arena).

You could try routing internal audio with Soundflower.

Re: beat-based duration for still images

Any update on if beat based duration is going to be implemented folks?

Or can we have the option to specify the still image duration in preferences / application defaults?

Thanks :)

Re: Finally a decent batch converter

Get this. No need for pirated versions of CS6/5/4/3/etc. It's free, less than a meg in size and damn easy to use.

Re: Intermittent Frame Rate/ FPS dropping

Using OSX? Using 10.8.5? Get rid of it and downgrade to an old timemachine backup with 10.8.4. I had a similar issue a week last Friday, fps dorpping to 9fps. 10.8.4 fixed it. That and clearing PRAM and SMC.

Re: RESOLUME + 2 APC40s

I've had a revisit to the whole "APC80" thing and dusted off the old Bome's patch. In the .zip is the Resolume4 MIDI mapping as well as the Bome's patch itself. To use this, you will have to download the test version of the MTPlayer - http://www.bome.com/products/miditranslator/licensing/oem Current...

Re: RESOLUME + 2 APC40s

I've an old(ish) Bomes patch that allows two banks of 40 clips (+ the associated layer sliders) to work on a "shift" basis. Basically it raised the channels from 1-8 to 9-16. All that then needed was mapping the extra content to the shifted keys. <------- Just returned to the patch I was creating. I...

Re: Rename Column Tabs

I use a different deck (named) for each song with the band I work with. And I'm no coder, but naming all the columns ... wouldn't that create havoc in saving of decks? More non fixed width character stings to take into account when saving / loading?
