Re: Using a layer as a mask in two places using layer router

Resolume 6 looks like it can do this with 5 layers, by routing a Layer Group.

Is there a better way to do this?

I'm guessing maybe you could get to 4 layers by using the Mask Layer feature?

Or 3?

Mask Layer with mask, set to affect Layer Below
"black" layer
"white" layer

Re: Showing content from web browser in Resolume?

Thank you, this worked extremely well. We added a Blackmagic Decklink Mini Recorder to our rig, and presenters connect their laptop to it just as if it was a projector. I'd look at capture card options, you can then manage the content externally and load the capture card wherever you want to in the ...

Re: Can't enable Syphon in Arena 5, Mac OS

Thank you, nailed it. My Syphon source was not correctly configured so it wasn't showing up. Working now!

Can't enable Syphon in Arena 5, Mac OS

I can't seem to enable Syphon!

I'm on Arena 5.1.2, Mac OS 10.116 (El Capitan) on a MacBook Pro with Retina display.

I can see the Syphon source by itself, but dragging it into the clip grid does nothing.

I don't see anything related to Syphon in the preferences.

Anything else I can be doing?

Showing content from web browser in Resolume?

So we have a 5 projector setup in a room (3 walls, floor and ceiling) which we use for immersive presentations. We're using Resolume Arena 5 to manage the mapping (the room is small so the angles are aggressive) and edge blending. For Resolume-based shows and presentations, it works great. However, ...

Re: What do you think, Lenovo P510 with 2x Quadro M2000 for Resolume? Some jerky playback.

It looks like there is a process called "Desktop Windows Manager" that kicks in and sucks CPU. When this happens Resolume framerate drops to 2fps from 60fps every few seconds.

I think we've dealt with it, we're now getting consistent 60fps at 3840 x 1280 with 4 outputs, which is what we want.

Re: Polar Coordinates plugin

What came of this? Was it released as the PolarKaleido effect?

It would be great if there was a version that treated the "overflow" as black, so you get a circular image.

What do you think, Lenovo P510 with 2x Quadro M2000 for Resolume? Some jerky playback.

For a fixed installation, we are using a Lenovo P510 tower with 2x nVidia Quadro M2000 cards, each with 4 Displayports. We need to connect 4 or 5 projectors, so we need all the outputs. The system drive is an SSD and there is a large data drive that we use for footage. We do play show footage from t...
