but i think for the same money u could build a no comprimise pc with internal hd and tft monitor, which gives u a lot more possibilities when it comes to upgrading and cooling... just out of curiousity: why do u want to buy a laptop? is it just for the mobility or is for another reason? greetz, Supe...

yep

u mean the pinnacle pc-tv pro i used that one with resolume 1.51, 2.0 and 2.1 in a shuttle for a bit over a year. it didnt perform bad but it didnt perform really good either, but i think thats with all the tv-in cards... it takes up too much processor power to run and therefore it made resolume pre...

drag the feedback effect over any clip when there are no clips playing...now press that movie to play the movie in one of the 3 layers... than the slider of the framerate 9automaticly) goes up to 100 and everytime i try to lower the framerate by dragging the slider it just goes up again... hope this...

hi guys, props on 2.3! when u drag the feedback source effect on a clip when there are no clips playing, and than dragging the feedbacked clip to channel(F1,F2,F3) makes the framerate of that movie and all other movies u play after that rise to 100, when i then lower the framerate it goes back up to...

i dont see why u shouldnt be able to...

i tested my current pc with 3 layers 800x600 with 2 effects, no noticible slowdown...
and that wasnt with raid...
building a system that has raid now ill post some pics and stats when i finish it, if youre interested...

HD speed

thats defenetly hard-disk speed... the stalling is caused by seek and load times of your harddisk which it has to do because of thumbnail generating, my gues is youre using the internal hd of the laptop?
try using an external hd preferably firewire...

hi, are the bars moving or just staying at somewhat the same value? because if they sort of stay on the same value check the ground of your motherboard. i had it with one of my shuttles and when the power source of that shutle broke down and i got a new one the noise wasnt there anymore.... greetz S...
