I have not, but for PCIE I would go Datapath. They work great with resolume and have 4k and dual DVI cards.

Re: Multi GPU?

This has nothing to do with Resolume. If the displays aren't working in windows then they won't work in Resolume.

Google turns up this thread which seems to have some answers:

Re: Buspowered Thunderbolt storage options.

There are weirdly not very many great enclosure offerings out there on the market. The best solution I have found is the Buffalo Ministation Thunderbolt. It's not sold as an enclosure, but there are lots of guides online explaining how to swap out the drive inside. Not only does it have bus powered ...

Re: System Status Monitor

I feel like every other gig we're put in situations that require outside of the box/hacked together solutions to make it all happen. Adaptable problem solving is really the most ...

Re: External SSD via USB 3.0

An SSD over USB3 works great. Done it with both a retina macbook pro and a year old Sager Laptop. Clip size is the limiting factor for how many you can play at once. I think I can do about 5-6 at 1080p before having issues.

Re: Clip, Layers, Deck, Effects limits

It's better to have more decks with less layers and columns per deck. I find that very large decks can cause a project to become unstable. It's better on Macs than Windows however. I have projects that will run on my mac but crash hard when trying to open in Windows.
