Re: Problem with OSC disconnectall + connect

Try: /layer1/clip4/connect 0 /layer4/clip4/connect 0 then: /composition/disconnectall 1 /layer1/clip4/connect 1 /layer4/clip4/connect 1 I don't understand what the point is of disconnectall if I still have to keep track of all playing clips and disconnect them each individually? Besides that, conne...

Problem with OSC disconnectall + connect

I am running into a problem with osc connect message in combination with disconnectall. I made a cue system where every cue is mapped to a list of osc messages being sent to resolume. These messages start clips in certain slots. Sometimes, from one cue to the other, besides triggering new clips the ...

Re: Correct OSC naming

Open Sound Control is an open protocol, so there is no front or back really. Any convention we choose is a valid convention. The current convention is very straightforward and easy to understand for novices. For experienced users programming their own interfaces, it can require some extra work. For...

Re: OSC can't stop clips

What's the current status of disconnectall? I can't get it to respond to either

/composition/disconnectall
or
/composition/disconnectall/

Has something changed in this regard in version 4?

Re: Correct OSC naming

I can see how this is correct but its annoying to sort out all my old max and touchdesigner tools. And that's why I mentioned the backwards compatibility mode. For OSC output the api could be switched as a setting. For OSC input they could even live together since they wouldn't bite each other. Wha...

Correct OSC naming

I just realized that Resolume has its OSC naming backwards. /layer1/clip5/video/position/values should really be /layer/1/clip/5/video/position/values or /layers/1/clips/5/video/position/values Are you aware of this, and if so is there a plan to correct this in the future? I can imagine you'd want t...

Re: New Mac, Mavericks, Quicktime Player can't open DXV file

Thanks for the tip. I am using quicktime x. I'll consider upgrading to pro, but it only really solves things if other people in my team pay for pro as well. For now I think I'll let them use the Resolume demo to preview content.

Re: Macbook integrated vs discrete gpu. No gain.

So I've finally done real world tests with a friends MPB. I posted the benchmark results here: http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11093&start=20 My theory is proven wrong  Clearly the game changes completely when outputting to an external display, like Oaktown suggested earl...
