Re: DXV codec.... very impressed!

sry forgot that, was running PAL (720x576) and used my converted footage which is 400x300 up to 800x600 without problems... also bigger (longer) files were no problem so far! tried the clips on my laptop on resolume2, also works but not very fast (3 layers won't run smooth), but it works ;) i did'nt...

Re: DXV codec.... very impressed!

here on winxp32/64 quicktime plays the videos fine :)
and really awesome in resolume, just tried 11 (!) layers with some effects on a overclocked E5200, 2gb ram and ati 4670, 1hd 500gb 7200 rpm, 30 fps constant :)
BIG up! :ugeek:

Re: soft edge multiscreen

with the effect "Vignette" you get a blurry rounded edge, looks like an old tv screen ;)
parameters should be enough
otherwise a mask from photoshop shoult do it, maybe in a bigger resolution with bigger edge, so you can fit in into the right position in resolume ;)

Layer Properties!

i noticed after about 20 minutes mixing that the layer properties won't work any more (xyz. scale etc...)... tried it on 2 different machines (notebook xp32 bit with ati, xp64bit with nvidia), same result... also the layer effects don't work! edit: i used more than 3 layers, maybe that's the problem?

Re: The eternal codec issue...

i think your problem is the cs4 media encoder ;) have the same problems with quicktime movies... rendering in in after effects makes a real difference... no quality loss ,) also in the new media encoder i can't set the keyframe settings in indeo codec... i'm rendering all in after effects, but with ...

Re: Audio FFT Analysis in Resolume 3

what i also often do with trapcode soundkeys is to f.e. multiply the output-value... woult also be nice and no problem i think... maybe like an extra speed-bar... and maybe for that is runs smoother something using like the fall or so? maybe that there's a smoother value like the average of the last...

Re: Performance!

Vista supports DirectX 10, has nothing to do with resolume i think but the thing is like in XP some years ago it supports more Features... but' this should'nt matter.. anyway, it shoult run on a mac book pro hardware or the macuser's are happy with it :D sry but i don't understand why resolume2 runs...
