Easiest way would be to use Hybridvisuals Chaser plugin side by side whatever you build in Wire

You can also hold down Ctrl and drag the FX you want to copy and it will copy it that way

FX wont work as the openGL versions that are required has changed. XML's might work in advanced output if you modify a few things, but mapping XML's won't work as the shortcuts system has changed.
So in short, going from Resolume 5 to 7 isn't ideal. Most of your work will need to be re-built.

Yes, with a bit of time in wire you can.
I'm not sure how much delay you get in Wire (I believe it's one frame?) so that's going to be a lot of nodes.
I believe sometime in the future, the amount of delay will be editable.
