Thanks, I am mapping Shift + X only. The X is referring to the on screen, Layer X (eject) key.

Awesome, very close but there seems to be a bug. I have set to layer and mapped a key to the X. The one issue I seem to have is the my "Shift X" shortcut seems to always effect the lowest layer (where it was mapped) and whatever layer is selected. So if Layer 1, 2 and 3 are playing clips. ...

Key mapped to selected layer

I was wondering if there is a way to map a key to a selected layer. For instance, I want to eject a clip on the currently selected layer.

I am not doing many shows yet and I am just trying to learn to use the keyboard more efficiently for live events at the moment.

For anyone considering, this training was really worth it . I just finished watching all the lessons. It was well put together and helped me understand all the things that I have not gotten to yet. As a newbie, I am very interested learning more. I was just wondering if there is a time frame of availability? Meaning, are they Online only and available for 12 months (or X time frame)? Or they permanently part of my online account?

I actually looked at the Adobe forums as well (they were down all day yesterday). You can actually install Quicktime without the player component. Just select "Custom" and then only install the "Quicktime Essentials", which from what I gather is just the codecs. QT no player.JPG ...
