thanks for the reply, version 3 sounds tasty already... by an extra bus i mean one more level of fx - so you would have clip FX, then you could direct one, two or all of the screens to a bus effect then finally the global fx... i think it would be really good if you could just render a clip fx as it...

i have gor resolume working perfectly with vista... at first it loaded the interface but clips wouldn't load at all then i opted for the option that allows you to simulate xp pro and it works perfectly... including outputting to a projector... obviously xp pro is the best option but i'm using ths me...

you don't specify by what method? did you add them to a clip or render them as a video file?

I have prepared a large number of still images resizing them to 640x480 80%jpeg to use in the mix (same size as my video clips) is it better practice to covert the image sequence to a video file or just drag multiple images to a clip... also how many images (max) is it sensible to drag to a clip bei...

do you have to use a laptop/pc fitted with dual monitor output capability?

please can someone advise on sensible clip lenghts..
most of my clips are a few seconds long but i would like to incorporate 5 minute long sections...

also i am rendering at 640x480 using the PICVideo M-JPEG 3 codec... IS THIS A GOOD/OR THE BEST OPTION?
