BPM Sync duration not dependent on tempo?

Quotation from the manual: "In order for BPM Synced clips to work right, you will need to set the number of beats that the clip spans in the Transport section. By default, Resolume will guess the right amount of beats for you based on the length of the clip. It will guess to the nearest power o...

Re: Videos too fast from BPM sync to Timeline, autopilot, ram & stutters

... 1) I created my comp in R6 and opened it in R7. Most of my clips were set to BPM Sync in R6. For some clips i decided during the night to put them back to transport > timeline, but then their speed is way off. The speed slider says 1, everything looks ok, speed slider in group & comp are on...

Re: Supported codeds in Alley

Yes, indeed! But I'm limited to OS 10.13.6., because my MacBook pro is from 2011. My main computer is the Windows Laptop now - which was the reason I changed from VDMX to Resolume. This was a good decision, I really like the GUI and functions of Resolume a lot, it's just perfect! :)

Re: Supported codeds in Alley

With my OS 10.13.6 macbook pro, Alley doesn't show any end marker, so I didn't knew that alley can trim the length of clips. But in Windows the end markers are visible, nice. The clip loops, which is also very helpful to find the right in and out point. The playhead could be a bit bigger, it's diffi...

Re: Supported codeds in Alley

Thanks for your research! So I think I'll have to convert the file to a different codec before sending it to alley, I think I'll try Foto jpg. My workflow is: 1. Trim the footage with Quicktime so that it loops seemlessly. (Compressor is not the right tool, it cannot play the selected area and loop)...

Re: Supported codeds in Alley

The file was too large for E-mailing, 64 MB. I trimmed it with Quicktime to 2 seconds, but the size doesn't change, still 64 MB?!

Re: Supported codeds in Alley

Is Apple AIC supported? With MacOS 10.13.6, I can play AIC .mov clips in Quicktime 7, but Alley doesn't accept them for converting, and it only plays the audio but doesn't show video.

recommended frame rate?

Is there in general a recommended frame rate for Resolume clips? When preparing content, does it make sense to change the frame rate to match the rate of the beamer that will be used to display the composition (I often use my own beamer), or is there a recommended frame rate for youtube videos etc.,...
