Re: Noob Datapath FX4 4K MacBook Question

In walldesigner create new input in "inputs" section and set resolution and framerate you need. I do not have any resolution issue with MBP2016 and FX4. I can get 30fps 4k with apple type-c digital multiport adapter and hdmi cable and 60fps 4k with type-c to display port cable. Troubles yo...

Re: Resolume 6 64bit?

You did not find evidence? Well, where did you found 32-bit modern Mac OS? For sure Resolume works in 64-bit OS, both Mac and Windows. And memory manadgement under Windows is terrible. Recently had an event, not so big, just 50 columns and 5 layers, but 5 screens mapped in 4k with Datapath FX4. Afte...

Re: Capturing DJI Phantom drone to Arena 5?

Actually you dont need wireless capture. DJI uses its own wireless video transmission from drone camera to remote controller. DJI remote controller outputs HDMI 720p. Blackmagic hardware captures this signal easily.

Re: AJA U-TAP capture card

Well, after some use at events i will admit that this hardware is not bad. Avoid this hardware if you need live camera input - it has quite a delay. But everything else is ok. It was working stable for hours. You do not need to guess correct input resolution - it detects it automatically and scales ...

Re: Triple Head - Dropping FPS

Looks like it is not MST hub, but USB videocard.
Forget about this crap - it is good for Power Point Presentation or some simple office work. Usb videocards never work good under heavy load - they do not have power and bandwidth.

Re: 13'' 2015 Macbook Pro (Please help, quite urgent)

Core2 Duo Macbook is too slow. 13 inch is not a great choice either. You must go with Retina Macbook Pro 15 with discrete graphics (Geforce 650 or 750 or Radeon). But even cheapest Retina 15 from 2014 is faster than Retina 13, because they use Crystalwell i7 with embededd graphics buffer on chip die...

Re: AJA U-TAP capture card

Well, finally i measured AJA U-TAP vs Blackmagic Ultrastudio Express Thunderbolt. Used 1280x720p resolution for input-output, built-in Resolume timecode (it's 25fps). Aja U-TAP gives me 4 to 5 frames delay (0.16-0.2 of a second). Taking photos i admit that i get 4 frames delay more often, so delay i...
