I can confirm the jitters are worse when you drop the playback rate, which is a bit weird, its also very odd but an external drive jitters less than an internal drive, even if the drives are the same type. I wish these jitters would go, I use so many slow pans and zooms, it really irritated me!

Create a 4:3 canvas and pop the animation in the middle, the canvas will be scaled to fullscreen, the animation will maintain aspect ratio. If you need the 256 to stretch to the full width arrange it like that on the canvas, if you need 256 to be padded, ie background on either side, make your canva...

The frame bug isnt as simple as dropping the speed to 12fps, I wish it was, in fact if you set the playback to 12fps you still get these dropped frames, its the resolution that seems to cause the problem. Its on clean installed xp systems too, nothing but os and resolume By specific footage you mean...

Lores isnt a problem, but you should really compare PAL res and 320 sometime on a big screen, 320 looks "oh its ok" until you see PAL res when you realise that 320 looks blurred, I like crisp when I need it crisp! Off the same system I've had 3-4 layers of MJPG PAL res play without frame d...

Well I get a tick(stutter) every second or so, with some footage its not noticable, but for slow stuff its a pain.
I have wondered whether its a AMD thing, as all my machines are AMD.

Yes, that bugs been there since beta2, I've actually had better playback from an external drive, rather than and internal, dont ask me why (even with a raid internal) process at 400x300 16 bit, is the smoothest I've managed, but it looks a bit crap. Its the one bug that I really want fixed, and the ...
