How to make Black background in Advanced Output

Post by paull »

IMG_3233.jpg
when I resize slices in advanced output the area that is revealed as background is shown as black in the advanced output screen (see attached image)

However, it projects as clear (which is way too bright) how do I make areas that are not slices project as black.

Finally updated to Arena and loving it.

When you click on the "output tab" at the top and then click on your slice you can click the "Black BG" option on the right side of advanced output.

If that doesn't work, create a new slice that takes up your entire output canvas and check the "Black BG" option, then move that slice to the bottom of your slice list on the left.

Glad you sussed this out. When it comes to connecting a projector black and clear are exactly the same!
