I tried Resolume 2.3 yesterday evening... Everything works great. Also the 2 usb-capture hardware.
I only noticed that you can't see what the reaction on the sound is when you set the audio analyzer on.
Nope... it stays at primary audio device... and i also select the correct one...
I see the analyser bouncing... but at the right of the layers i don't see the scrollbar reacting on the sound... It's nice to see it moving
I've got the same problem.
The opacity is linked to the music correctly, but the opacity slider isn't jumping in sync with the music.
Previous versions works correctly.
sound responsiveness is still very unprecise from my pooinjt of view... i cann't really make a slider bounce to the bass drum quater notes, although it there is nothing else to hear in that frequency range...
what are your experiences? anyone having a similar problem?
how do u configure the audio analyzer to get good (noiceable) results?
it,s quite a challenge to get good audio fft response, but running the audio though an equalizer first and then to resolume can help you filter & emphasize hight/mid and low frequencies.
How about sacking the FFT, which tends to be an almost random almost in sync effect and get tap tempo and LFO's in its place?
I've yet to see FFT work acceptably in any software, generally it just makes things jitter slightly behind the beat, please give us the option to disable it too, it seems to affect performance to me.
