Hi
first sorry for my poor english.
I'm using resolume 3 for an educational project on a small I3m laptop withe windows 7.everything works fine.no videos here , just pictures ( 640X480) .I'm trying the same project with the resolume 4 demo and have an issue with the auto layer transitions. during the transitions, there is an huge cpu spike and the fps falls from 60 to 20. I can see that too with dvx movies, but there is a much smaller differences. all problems disapears if I don't use the auto layer transitions ( like resolume 3).I think that there is more fps fall and cpu spike with an main outpout of 640X480 than 1024 x768 for the same pictures , and of course better are the resolution of the pictures , higher are the cpu spikes and the fps fall.
so here is my questions :
is it possible to have a less cpu hungry layer transitions ?
I suppose than picture compression are like videos with codecs, so witch could be the lighter format ( jpeg or
png) ?
thanks for reading
