we learned that replacing png files with dxv movies that are 1 or 2 frames long improves the performance at a large comp size a lot.

yeah 72dpi is fine. as its not going to print it wont beed to be any higher. pictures are looking good :)

Rasterization from 300dpi to 72dpi done by Arena (OpenGL?) is awful, so 72 dpi is the 'no other choice' !
