2xSAI Kreed Built in Render Effect

Post by djmaddis »

Right, i am a bit of an old school gamer, and it came to my attention that resolume currently lacks any HQ rendering option. This is used in so many emulators including ZSNES and mame

How cool would it be to have a built in Filter renderer for resolume.

Just think how much smoother the videos would look if it was passed through the folowing:

2xSai Kreed
Super Eagle
hq3x
hq4x(beta)

Obviously without a doubt, you will probably need to good pc to render this, but do you think this is an awsome idea?

Hi,
It sure looks quite good, sometimes it even looks better then the original.
Did ever thy this with photo like pictures, i have the feeling that it works specifically well with specific graphics. But i found some c++ source code so maybe i give it a try. just to see what it does.
But we will use hardware scaling in the next version of Resolume and i can tell you that that looks very nice as well.

Cheers
Edwin
