Wondertouch Particle View

Post by pfelberg »

Hello,

I was reading about the new Avenue features like the Mac´s Quartz Composer compability.
I wonder if it would be possible to make something similar on the PC side, with Wondertouch Particle Illusion´s "particle view", which seems to be a a freeware module.

Hey Paulo

One of the reasons QC is included is because (like Flash) it is designed to be integrated and used inside other applications (like for instance iChat or Photobooth on MacOS). This means that as developers, we have a basic set of rules we can base our integration on.

Other programs like the one you mention (but unfortunately also Processing for instance) lack this so-called API. So that makes it very difficult for us to implement this, unless the creators of Particle View would like to get in touch with us.

I hope that explains things a bit.

Joris
