hd sdi spy cams, tiny small mini cameras ?

Post by westframe »

Anyone tested, experience, know about the best-smallest-highres cameras out there with SDI output?

e.g. like:
http://www.snmtech.co.kr/modules/catalo ... &p=2&no=47
http://www.snmtech.co.kr/modules/catalo ... &p=2&no=48
http://www.kappa.de/en/news/news-2012/Tauri2-HD.html

I thought of using GoPro Hero3, but it's not build for live multi-cam on stage: poor small HDMI connection (no SDI), battery down fast etc. Any experience with multiple GoProHero3's live to SDI mixing (Blackmagic ATEM studio1)?

I need to buy/rent this stuff around Amsterdam and/or Paris...

Let me know.

I've been testing similar ones: http://www.mars-cam.com/optical/cameras ... -500-M.php

The quality is superb in 720 !
Will use them for a show this week.
For questions, contact me.

Heppy hunting!

just wanted to let you know that we went for an ABUS HD-SDI cam because the mars cam wouldnt come in time and the image of the abus cam is brilliant. We use it in a club and tried it out yesterday with extremely low light and you get a really clear image - just a little bit of color noise but thats acceptable and the audience won't notice it.
