Similar to how Blackmagic Atems vision mixers record and save Macro presets that be recalled by one button on the panel.
There's multiple preset slots available and a record button and it records any button/fader/state changes that are made whilst the record button is enabled and then saved to that preset slot which is midi mappable.
Once recalled via a midi button press it recalls that preset and the recorded state is recalled, one button multiple effects and state looks, as soon as a fader/button is touched then it will obviously override that particular setting in the preset if that fader/ parameter was saved in the state.
Obviously a standard base look will needed tobe made to revert to where your faders and effects are likely to be... but this could be a game changer as different presets as well individual clips could be the same effect parameters which currently can only have one button assigned without it becoming messy.

Re: Macros effect/presets...Game changer
This macro preset feature sounds like a total game changer! The ability to recall multiple effects with just one button will streamline workflows and enhance creativity. Excited to see how it transforms live production!rayg006 wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 13:49 Similar to how Blackmagic Atems vision mixers record and save Macro presets that be recalled by one button on the panel.

This sounds like a game-changing approach to live control and automation, especially in audio-visual performance or lighting environments where complex state changes need to happen fast and clean.rayg006 wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 13:49 Similar to how Blackmagic Atems vision mixers record and save Macro presets that be recalled by one button on the panel.

Implementing a macro recording system — where any fader/button/parameter change is tracked while recording is enabled — and then saving that entire state to a preset slot that’s MIDI mappable — could:
Massively simplify performance workflows, allowing for one-button scene recalls.
Allow multiple presets to store different “looks” or “states,” just like ATEM macros.
Still allow live override of any parameter as soon as it's touched, giving performers real-time freedom.
Provide a base/default scene to easily revert to a known state after experimental changes — essential for consistency during live use.

This seems like a revolutionary way to live control and automation, particularly in lighting or audio-visual settings where intricate state changes must occur quickly and neatly.

You'll need to download https://vvvv.org/download/
vvvv gamma to use it, but I've been in the process of making a preseter for vvvv patches, this patch uses osc to record and control resolume, I've only put in layers clips and opacity really so far, but you can try and add more if you need. (right click on a button to store a preset, left to recall it, timeline is wip so ignore it)
Trouble is there are so many addresses (and transport sends every frame for every layer) and learning from wiggling parameters over osc is going to be tricky. And fx are all named in osc , so you have to specify the address per layer etc. I don't know whether using rest would make more sense, but I don't know rest at all so haven't bothered. But I have set parameters to presets in the patch and that works. (tick boxes say whether to record a a parameter or not)
You'll want to watch some tutorials for using gamma if you've never across it before... and pc only.
I've been making it as I have a tv show in a couple of months and wanted to be able to make scenes and recall them with one button...
