Resoltion or pixel size?

Post by Electroguepard »

What is better:

To have all clips with the same resolution with different pixels size?
To have all clips with different resolution but with square pixels?

The best would be same resolution with same pixel size.

Out of the two options you give though, different resolution with square pixels would be the best. You don't want to mess around with pixel aspect ratios. Just make everything square pixels.

Or circular pixels. Those increase quality levels by multitudes of pi.

Are you talkin' about JPEG2000?
I think not... So better, answer serious things...

If I ask this it's only to know wich is better way to work with resolume.
I play with a lot of different fonts sizes, and for me it's better to render the video file one time with the same resolution and different aspect ratio, than have to change settings clip per clip on resolume.

* Clip per clip no because I can select all of them.

Sorry if my response it's not very "happy" to your jocke, but I'm working outside my country and these are hard days...
Maybe next week I'm more social
