Hi,
I found that if I name a composition with non us character like éáöüóúűő
and then press record, and stop, the recorded file is not loaded into the deck.
in the Recorded folder I found 2 files for 1 recording,
with letter á in composition name:
király1.mo with the data
király1.mov with 0 bytes
in the log :
Opening file_source failed: OPEN_FILE_SOURCE_FAILED C:\Users\Y\Documents\Resolume Arena 4\recorded\király1.mov
after renaming the first to mov, the file usable tho.
Tried to enable the Use Arial unicode MS in general preferences, but same effect.
windows 7 Hun
resolume 4.1.8
Regards!

Re: recording not showing up - non us characters like éáöüóú
Yes, it looks like Resolume has a hard time dealing with the finer specifics of some characters. We'll look into it.
For now the obvious workaround is of course to use the non-accented versions of the letters.

Joris, are you sure is a resolume thing?
I'm asking myself for another cause.
I´ve tried on a win7 machine: 4.1.8 works fine, but 4.1.10 fails dealing with non standar char.
Same win7 on different machine: both resolume versions works fine.

Well, there's a reason that back in the days of DOS, you could only name a file with 8 characters, no punctuation and a 3 character suffix. It was guaranteed to work

Oh Joris, I know is a little thing. We can live with that.
My point is, maybe is not on the resolume side.
