Finding the right controller

I got my hands on a Maschine Mikro and was getting along with it pretty well. I used it to trigger clips which output go to different mapped objects, creating a sort of led-bar like light show. Unfortunately i cannot record the sequences i make on the pad, so i have to keep op drumming the pads the whole time on a gig. The question to you guys is, is there a controller which can record the sequence whithout any use of other software?
