PROBLEM :
Using Resolume linked by an IAC driver to Ableton suite 9.1.4 & a Push controller I had Resolume & Ableton going mad ...
WHY :
Push uses Akaï formatted Sysex messages to control its behaviours
Resolume hates those Sysex messages
SOLUTION :
using a filtering tool for Sysex messages between the Input & the Output of the IAC driver (OSX) or the virual MIDI ports (Win)
