Hi
Is it correct that Resolume Arena 5 only allows the use of one stereo input channel simultaneously, and has no option to isolate left and right channels?
To me it seems mandatory during a live set to be able to use multiple inputs: like one for the kick drum, one for bass, hi-hat sounds and so on, to be able to let the live video react to each sound separately. It would be less of a problem if Resolume would have a bigger frequency select thumbnail. Right now, it's very very hard to isolate the sounds you want the video to react to if you have only option to use e.g. the master PA output as input and crazy small window to select the sounds.
I like the software a lot, but for this reason, I may have to switch. Does anyone know which similar softwares are able to do this?
I found a way around this, but it doesn't solve the sound selection/isolation issue: I mix all inputs on a mixing panel, and create like a "video out mix" with a very clear kick drum mixed in. But to filter it out again in Resolume is hard.
Any tips and tricks that might help me out? Thanks!
