I need to use videofile with dimensiones 20px x 10px.
But when i insert it on the timeline, it plays corrupted.
I've attach corrupted view of this file, and file itself.
Codec is h264. I've tried uncompressed AVI with same size - no luck.
Can somebody test my videofile?
P.S. MadMapper opens and render this file properly. (if i switch off hardware acceleration in MM)
Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
Re: Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
I think it's the resize algorithm.
How does it look on your actual output?
And how does it look in other players?

Re: Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
Most certainly. Maybe i can switch off optimization in some ini file?
I've attached videofile (in my first post), so you can see it.
Also i've attach a picture. I try to control color only with one pixel. So, that is why, it's so small.
On 4 players, that i have on my computer it looks fine. (When i switch off interpolation in settings)
Re: Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
I've just tried to play this file on both a Mac and a PC, both vanilla without extra codec packs or players installed. Neither of them can play the file. At that point, it becomes very difficult for us to play it.
If you'd like to play it in Resolume, it's best to convert to a widely accepted codec/container like h264 mov/mp4, or our own DXV in a mov container.

Re: Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
on mac, in VLC your file looks like this:
Also I don't see any pink frames in the video, so you have either a different file loaded in your screenshot or the file is in an unsupported format.
On my mac the avi you sent does not load at all in Resolume, but that's expected.
So, the Output monitor will show you the texture upscaled, but your actual output could look just fine. Also I don't see any pink frames in the video, so you have either a different file loaded in your screenshot or the file is in an unsupported format.

Re: Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
Exacactly as it must. (If switch off interpolation, it will be sharp lines\pixels).
Look. i tried all these codecs, and none of them "works with Resolume at 20x10px" I installed DVX codec, it OPENS in Resolume, but it produce corrupted colors. The question is: Which codec i must use with videosize 20x10 for proper understanding it in Resolume?
Re: Video file 20px x 10px appears corrupted
The codecs you're trying don't work because you're using the .avi container. We can't open your file on any application except VLC. After effects can't, Premiere can't, Final Cut Pro can't.
Just go with mp4 or mov.

Anyway VERY strange behaviorJoris wrote: Thu Jul 26, 2018 10:56 The codecs you're trying don't work because you're using the .avi container. We can't open your file on any application except VLC. After effects can't, Premiere can't, Final Cut Pro can't.

1. Mov did the trick, but "uncompressed" or "animation" codecs produce quite large files. Somebody knows lossless mov codec with better compression?
2. Mpeg4 (XVID) codec works, but not in even cases. For example frame 20x10 (IN RESOLUME) not works, but 16x16,32x32, 16x32 e.t.c. works. But it produce LOSSY colors. i.e. RED #FF0000 can be #FA1218 and go on. For perfect lighting Mpeg4 not suitable.
Or maybe somebody knows losless XVID settings, or another Mpeg4 codec?
3. h264 works 50%\50% mostly on big files. I still not figured rule.
Anyway, support of h264 codec will be very big step.
In common, i need color-perfect pixel-per-pixel (small filesize) solution to use in Resolume.
