hey guys, im just wondering where should i start to promoting myself as VJ. coz im still new in this vj world . do u guys think i should persue local rave clubs offer them free demo etc ? any ideas or watever that might help please. share some of ya xperience if u guys dont mind. tq peace.

prepare a file for yourself
prepare a website
you can try to contact with the promoters and clubs but more important try to contact with the artists and develop some sort of partnership with them
never ofer them a free show, maybe u cant ask money but ask at least your expenses
never beg
never mention that you are newbie
and also
never do a show if you dont feel your self sufficent
extreme caution to your equipments and clips
ready to solve any kind problem no matter it occurs where or when (I mean visual stuff only)
prepare an emergency plan
