I have a question about the text function in 1.1 beta 2. when a swf is loaded in resolume there is a possibility to add text in realtime,
i can type in the text but it doesn't appear in the output window. what's my problem, i didn't find a topic on this in the manual.

thanx

you have to make a dynamic text field in your flash file named 'text'

there are example .FLA files in your install of Resolume. I don't remember the name of the folder and I'm not at my video machine, but they are there...

Thanx Bsom it works, but i think the problem was that i first was using flash 5 and it didn't seem to work. With the flash 4 player installed it works fine. Do you use flash 5?

I am using Flash MX and have the latest patch level of the Flash plugin installed, version 6.0.47.0 I believe...

I've never had any problems typing into the Text field of a channel with a Flash file loaded into it. Make sure you are in the field before you start typing...
