To clarify what I am trying to do:
I am trying to find a clever way to get my advanced output slices into after effects in a way so that I end up with each slice on its own layer in the "shape" of masks so that I can apply the video copilot FX "saber" on each of them.
I realise that there is a 15€ offer on juicebar by Haute that seems to do exactly what I am looking for.
I don't mind paying for QoL functionality, but this one in particular seems to be so rudimentary that I would prefer learning the mechanics behind it as it seems to indicate that there are some basic knowledge related to workflow/pipeline that I ought to know
I have been getting deeper into Arena, Wire and a lot of third party stuff.
I am currently working on a revised version of Slice Delay and leaning a lot.
However, I am unable to figure out how to import the SVG file from advanced output into After Effects (to use Saber) without roundtripping to Ai and/or Ps.
Anyone able to give me a hint to get me in the right direction?
(decided to start a topic for it instead of necking/hijacking another thread.
