Fullscreen startup

Post by Petteri »

Hi,

I'm building a project where I need to start resolume in fullscreen mode. Is there any way to do this?

Try enabling the full screen output, then close Resolume.
When you start resolume again, the full screen output will be activated, and if you set a layer to trigger first clip on load, the composition will also play a clip in that layer.

Hi, what about when I only have 1 display?
It feels a bit like black magic.
I’m using Avenue and made it load on startup and trigger first clip and when I’m using Advanced Output and hard rebooots the computer it sometimes load on fullscreenn and sometime doesn’t. Any ideas?

What's your one display, and is it powered on when the machine starts?

I can add that I developed a superstition that if I save “blindly” ctrl+s and crash the computer it will start-up back to with project open. I noticed that now that it doesn’t start full screen Avenue starts and lags for a second before the project loads.🤷🏼‍♂️

Crashing the computer, might not save your data, or config files.
If you send us the crash report we might be able to figure out what crashes there. Don't forget to add your email address too.
