Cant locate slices in Avenue

how come i dont see slices in effect tab when i search it wont show up also on the view tab it wont show me show slices i did create 2 slices in the advanced,am i doing something wrong? im using AVENUE thanks

Slice effects are Arena only.

If I’ll upgrade to ARENA will all my data(visuals) transfer there or I’ll have to do it all over again?

Arena will use a different Documents folder, but you can copy the Documents/Resolume Avenue over to Documents/Resolume Arena and that should just work for the settings and compositions.
