Why are midi notes different between ableton & resolume?

Trying to send midi notes from ableton to resolume and over network and I have to add +36 to the midi note on the ableton side for the notes to match. Can't work it out. Any ideas?

Does changing midi note settings at the bottom of midi preferences fix it?
