3D Rendering

When will Wire supports at least a simple 3D enviroment system, with simple lighting and camera and 3D Meshes (even if just geometric forms)

Just 3d would be a start, you can always write your own lighting, but vertex shaders would be great, geometry and compute even better. I need point sprites!

Good question Rafaelski!
That is what is stopping me investing any time into Wire.

As a long time Quartz Composer ( ) and now Vuo user, 3D geometry and a good lighting shader with shadows etc was my favorite use case. There are plenty of ways of getting feeds from games engines and other node based systems into Resolume but having patches running as clips is the ideal scenario.

I know it's not going to be easy as a crossplatform proposition but until that time it's a bit pointless for me. Respect to anyone learning Wire now who will be ahead of the game if we ever get that functionality.
