Circle Slices Without Fisheye Distortion

Post by Age of Moss »

Is there a way to create circular slices in advanced output that don't distort videos? I have done some googling, and there seems to have been an option to add a crop layer in an older version of Resolume (circa 2012). I assume this has since been removed because I can't see it in the software anywhere.

I am trying to create a map for a series of intersecting rings. Using output masking means that the layers underneath the top one are partially obscured. Input masking is working great for taking out the middle of the ring, but using the "Make Circle" option on the output slice leaves it distorted. Manually playing with moving points using the bezier tool seems to have the same effect.

I am happy to upload pictures if that is helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried clip masks, or the vignette effect?

I ended up setting a mask made with the Shaper tool as the top layer. It was a little counterintuitive, but it did the trick. Thank you!
