i currently use 320x240 avi's and flash. The output picture is pretty good (see http://www.assid.co.nz/unity_resized/)
especially when mixed with live camera.

The good thing about the matrox card is that you can output any part of your monitor display through the video out, so you can use it with a lot of different software
