A question about the new columns

Post by MarijaVFX »

I have a comp that relies heavily on a column to column peformance based off of BPM and song phrasing, so I can run my own visuals whilst DJing

I only have an APC Mini MK2, and I just want to bind each column 1x1 in order, however there is a LOT more than 64 columns involved, so is it possible to open a new MIDI page for the next 64 ?

Thank you!

You need to explain more about how your setup works. How and when are columns triggered? It sounds like you trigger them manually.
You might be able to get away with mapping a single control to trigger next column if you're working in a linear fashion.

It most cases it'll be automatically flipping to each column as I've mapped them out by beats, however some cases I might want to switch BPMs and toggle the next column manually in case my music is off sync ! I'm using RekordBox , my set's BPM ranges from 110 to 170...

What I was hoping to do was map a button to switch to a song's specific column AND change BPM at the same time so everything is on sync.

You're right about the way I could map it but I feel that might be problematic in some cases.
